All Marrin Marine builds begin with laser alignment. As a matter of fact lasers are used extensively throughout the manufacturing process to maintain tight tolerances on alignment. You'll know if your boat is misaligned when you stop paddling and drift to port or starboard. After a day of paddling you'll feel it in your shoulders and back if you have had to correct for this even a little bit. If you have ever experienced this Marrin Marine quality control will come as a welcome relief after a long days paddle.

The Carriacou is poised and responsive in a wide range of conditions, easily turned when leaned, tracks dead straight and when pushed hard in surfing conditions really outperforms all other kayaks of equal length.

The Carriacou doesn't have a rudder nor does it need one. Even in windy conditions the hull design makes directional control next to effortless.

The speed and narrow beam means the Carriacou is not designed for beginners but is a safe and enjoyable vessel for experienced paddlers with intermediate skills (which is most of us). We are confident you will find it the best boat you ever paddled. No matter what age you are, a teen or centurion, if you love to kayak you will never go back to Tupperware.
